Found on the FB page of my young aunt Hortence: a newspaper clipping about Government in 1863 bragging that my grandmothers grandfather, captain Broos, had agreed to visit the Governor.
Broos was the leader of the Baka Busi Nengre rebels, who used to fuck up colonials for fun. He traveled to Paramaribo, where he met with the governor and his people, just a few months after slavery was abolished in 1863, and promised to stop fucking with the slave holders and other people who considered themselves more than him.
But he did not sign any agreement that they could hold him to. Which means I am still free to fuck up modern day colonials.
In fact I am duty and principally bound to do it
For fun.
Watch me!
